This is part of an injoke that originated after playing a certain scene from Xenosaga. For those that haven't seen it, Albedo has this fetish for abusing Kirchwassers and frightening MOMO. After showing this scene to a friend, we made jokes about how Albedo is a pedophile (we nicknamed him Albedoff).
So here I show Alyssa Searrs from Mai-HiME because she reminds me of a 100-Series Realian.
i dunno much about the game to say much more, but they guy's expression is great nice, crisp coloring.. though the good cging doesn't blend much with the background , maybe a few strengthening of the hues, etc, or maybe vectoring it (which i dunno how to do) will suffice... still, nice work
Another good pic you have here. I like how the first thing to really see is the eyes and how they are in equal height. I also think that the background is good. It adds them IN a place instead of a blank scene. The line quality is nice, full and never waivers. Classical anime so its simple and isn't confusing. The joke is cute and gives a giggle as well as the emotion of the males smile.
For imrpovement I would have to suggest just giving more emphasis in how the girl is scared/distressed. Maybe moving her head to the audience rather in a scared motion while looking at the main guy could give some dynamic air to the piece. Also maybe so more detail in the hair of the characters to give nice details that are in the background, but then again, it is a style question. For anatomy which we are ALL so fond of hearing, I would have to say boost some more volume opr space to the males head in the back. He seems hollow and like caved in. Maybe more hair to fill out the space of the blue sky. Just some suggestions though.
Overall, nice job. Keep drawing!

LOL ah i remember that scene well i do, did you know in the japanes version of Xenosaga, it was well albedo did stiff with momo so i've read, it was sensored out in the english version due to well ya, aledos a feak but hes still my favourite xenosaga character
Wow I can see how your art progressed with this piece. You did a really go job of choicing a background that would be best for the main focus of this image. Your coloring is really clean in this as well as the lines! Awesome job. But the guys seems a bit oddly shaped, kinda like a watermelon. But by far, this is the best image you posted in my fourm thread!
Great JOB!

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
